My scientific work is characterized by multidisciplinarity of the topics and methods I use, which is a consequence of the breadth of my research interests.

I research in the areas of corporate finance and company valuation, as well as the economics of financial crises. Moreover, I try to shed the light on the interaction between a wide range of economic and social factors.

In my research, I apply quantitative economic methods, as well as the dependence of the concept of Pareto efficiency on the system of values.

Current research projects:
  • “Influence of Religion on Women in the Labor Market”, with Elena Nikolova and Dušan Marković.
  • “Uncertainty and Educational Spending in Contemporary Europe”, with Jenny Kragl and Dina Radermacher.
  • “Changes over Time in the Effect of Bank Suspensions during the Interwar Period”, with Jan Mutl.
